Corns & Callouses

Both corns and callous are a result of repetitive intermittent pressure. This can occur from poorly fitting footwear or as a result of how you walk. Initially the corn and callosity will be debrided.  We will then provide you with  advice as to how to prevent or minimise its re-occurrence and pain. However unless the initial cause is addressed they do have a tendency  to reoccur and  therefore may need ongoing routine care.

Verrucae or plantar warts are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. There is no single effective method of treating verruca. The choice of treatment depends on the pain you are in, the position and the size of the lesion. Treatment methods include cryosurgery (freezing), electrosurgery and combination therapy.
